Job TitleThis job is responsible for working with the Supervisors and assisting in training and developing the team, monitoring production performance, ensuring production and quality controls are met while adhering to the work instructions for the area of responsibility.This role is based at our Irving, TX location with a schedule of Monday-Thursday from 5:30 pm to 4:00 am.Duties and ResponsibilitiesWorking knowledge of shop floor systems (CVision, Oracle, Unit Tracker, Great Plains, Ghost)Participate in daily stand-up meetings with SupervisorParticipate in internal and external customer or vendor meetingsWork with Supervisor to reallocate resources (people/supplies/products etc.) as needed to meet customer goalsWork with other departments as needed to ensure proper workflow is achievedPoint of contact for employees for handling escalation issuesWork with Engineering to identify and resolve process issuesAbility to collaborate with other departments with their area of responsibilityTrack and maintain daily attendance roster for Emergency Evacuation purposesParticipate with the 6S Audit team on monthly 6S auditsWork with supervisor to implement any changes or adjustments on production floor as a result from the auditsForklift certified if needed for area of responsibilityPerform on-the-job (OJT) refresher training and workstation assessmentMonitor inventory levels (WIP Aging) for specific area of responsibilityMonitor KPI and SLA performance levels and escalate any issues/concerns to supervisor when neededAbility to communicate effectively with all levels of employeesMust be proficient and certified in the area that they are responsible for leadingCompile and analyze dataComplete daily reportsTrain and coach associates as neededRequirementsHigh School Diploma or GED1+ years of lead or supervisory experience in a manufacturing and/or warehouse environmentHelpful Skills/ExperiencePrior leadership experience in manufacturing, logistics, operations, or another applicable environment is preferredAbility to collaborate with other departments within their area of responsibilityTraining environment experienceForklift certified if needed for area of responsibilityAbility to communicate effectively with all levels of employeesMust be proficient and certified in the area that they are responsible for leadingPay Range: $17.34 - $27.75Any posted pay range considers a wide range of compensation factors, including candidate background, experience and work location, while also allowing for salary growth within the position.If there is no posting end date listed then this is a pipeline requisition, and we will continue to collect applications on an ongoing basis.
