Material Planning Analyst - Union, SCLocation: US Gestamp South CarolinaJob SummaryAnalyst will assist the Materials Planning Department, by generating real time reporting for EDI, MRP and KPIs to the group. Will also assist in duties such as Supplier Reconciliations, Aged Inventory Analysis, Freight Analysis, Container Management along with other duties.Duties and ResponsibilitiesGenerate EDI reports from SAP, with customer demand and distribute analysis reports.Participate in MRP / SAP Cleanup activities.Track and report out department KPI'sReview Aged Inventory at Sub-Suppliers, pushing disposition and generate aged inventory reportsMonitors and reports receipts, production, scrap, and other inventory-related data on the computer to accurately maintain inventory levels of production material; Performs Supplier Reconciliations in SAPTracks and controls container management for Sub-SuppliersAnalyzes cycle count adjustments to ensure accurate inventory accountability and make recommendations to the Materials Manager; Handles Freight needs for department (UberFreight) – maintaining dedicated lanes and analyzing premium freightWorks with Finance to close out open invoices that may have discrepanciesCreates and Maintains Service Demand AnalysisSupport team functions by: Kaizen submittal and implementation Cross-training with others Backfills other materials positions as needed Problem solving Supports materials metrics and meets materials needs Other duties as assigned.Education and ExperienceBachelor's Degree Or 3-5 years manufacturing/planning experience SAP experience Excellent Excel and Reporting experienceKnowledge, Skills and AbilitiesFollow standardized work instructions Excellent oral and written communication skills Excellent computer efficiency Positively motivating communication/people skillsPhysical and Mental Requirements of the PositionManual dexterity Good vision and hearing Work a flexible schedule Critical Thinking Handle the stress of a fast-paced environment Complex problem solvingGestamp is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
