Material Manager - MS

Managing the material management function for large-scale construction projects, the full-time remote Material Manager - MS will oversee the complete material lifecycle, from receiving to installation, while leading a team of Material Coordinators and Expediters. Key responsibilities: Lead and manage material operations, ensuring efficient handling and tracking of materials throughout the project lifecycle Develop and implement project-specific material management plans, coordinating with various teams to ensure timely availability of materials Maintain accurate inventory records and oversee shipping and receiving activities, resolving discrepancies as needed Required qualifications: 5+ years of experience in material management, logistics, or related roles, preferably in construction Previous leadership experience managing material or logistics teams, including supervising Material Coordinators or Expediters Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and construction management software, with a focus on inventory tracking Experience with mechanical construction materials and OSHA safety standards Clean driving history and forklift operation experience; certifications preferred
