The company has thrived as a family business through four generations and has grown to be a market leader and best in class innovator.Position SummaryThe Material Inspector/Yard Associate interacts with customers while inspecting and grading materials delivered to the yard. This role may operate small equipment to help process and prepare materials for shipment. We are looking for an energetic, customer-focused individual who enjoys working with people and providing a positive, face-to-face experience for customers and truck drivers.

This position works primarily outdoors, and we are happy to train the right person on our equipment and recycling.ScheduleMonday - Saturday (4-Day: Rotating Schedule)1st Shift 7am - 5:30pmResponsibilitiesSort, process and inventory material (Non-Ferrous Metals) by operating shears, balers, loaders and forkliftsAssist with purchasing various grades of recyclable materials from customers.Support customers with the unloading of materials.Assist with preparing, packing, and loading materials for shipment.Sort and process materials in accordance with company standards.Operate equipment such as loaders, forklifts, or other machinery as neededAssist with vehicle and appliance processing activitiesConduct basic inspections and documentation as requiredMaintain inventory accuracy and assist with material trackingMaintain a clean, safe, and organized work environmentQualificationsSix months' small equipment experience is preferredEquipment operation and preventative maintenance knowledgeBasic computer skillsGood interpersonal and customer service skillsAbility to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environmentAbility to work independently and as part of a teamAccuracy in operation and attention to detailKnowledge in inventory controlPADNOS has a rich history of taking care of our Team Members, their families and the multiple communities we serve.
