Warehouse Material HandlerThe Warehouse Material Handler is integral to the efficient operation of our warehouse and production facility. You will be responsible for the safe, accurate, and efficient movement, storage, and distribution of materials. This role supports daily operations by ensuring materials are received, stored, picked, packed, and delivered to the appropriate locations in a timely manner while maintaining inventory accuracy and workplace safety.ResponsibilitiesReceive, inspect, and unload incoming materials and products.Accurately pick, pack, stage, and transport materials to designated locations.Load and unload trucks, containers, and pallets using manual methods or material handling equipment.Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, and order pickers (as trained and certified).Maintain accurate inventory records through manual counts, cycle counts, and inventory systems.Label, sort, and store materials according to established procedures.Prepare materials for shipment and ensure proper documentation is completed.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with company and safety standards.Identify damaged or non-conforming materials and report issues to supervision.Perform other warehouse or material handling duties as assigned.Essential SkillsHigh school diploma or equivalent required.Previous warehouse or material handling experience preferred but not always required.Ability to read, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions.Basic math and computer skills for inventory tracking and documentation.Forklift or powered industrial truck certification preferred or ability to obtain certification.Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.Additional Skills & Qualifications1+ years minimum warehouse and production experience in a metals facility or manufacturing-related facility.Experience with Microsoft Office Suite is beneficial.Join a dynamic team that values efficiency and safety in a fast-paced environment. Safety procedures and personal protective equipment must be followed at all times. The dress code includes jeans, a t-shirt, steel-toed shoes, and PPE provided by the company. Shifts are as follows: 1st shift: 6am-2pm, 2nd shift: 2pm-10pm, 3rd shift: 10pm-6am.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Park City, KS.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $21.00 - $23.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
