Material HandlerLocation: Westford, MA 01886Duration: 6 months of contract with possible extensionShifts: 3:30 PM to 2:00 AM Monday - ThursdaySummaryResponsible for ensuring all inventory is maintained accurately and provided to required areas in a timely manner.Job DutiesList the significant/essential duties, tasks or responsibilities which employees in this position are required to perform.1 year of inventory control experience, preferably in a regulated environment (pharma, med device, etc.)Perform material movements both physically and systematicallyGenerate work orders from an ERP systemPerform work order receipts in ERP systemPerform cycle counting as requiredMaintain a neat and safe work environmentAssist in the coordination and flow of product through manufacturing and assembly when neededWork in a cross functional team environmentSome areas will require the handling of chemicals with proper training provided. The types of chemicals consist mainly of isopropyl alcohol and sulfuric acid, neither of which has a high hazard level.Must work overtime as required for business needsSupport all company initiatives as identified by management and in support of Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS), and other regulatory requirements.Complies with U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, other regulatory requirements, company policies, operating procedures, processes, and task assignments.Maintains positive and cooperative communications and collaboration with all levels of employees, customers, contractors, and vendors.Performs other related duties and responsibilities, on occasion, as assigned.EducationMinimum is high school diploma or GED.
