The Material Handler / Warehouse AssociateThe Material Handler / Warehouse Associate is responsible for the safe, accurate, and timely movement of materials to support production, service, and shipping operations. This role ensures inventory accuracy, material availability, and compliance with safety and quality standards.Key ResponsibilitiesMove materials using forklifts, cranes, pallet jacks, and handcartsLoad/unload shipments; verify quantities, condition, and documentationStage materials to meet daily production and service schedulesMaintain inventory accuracy through ERP transactions and cycle countsIdentify and resolve inventory discrepanciesPerform basic part preparation (cleaning, deburring, scale removal)Complete required documentation for receiving, transfers, usage, and scrapInspect materials for quality prior to releaseMaintain clean, organized work areasFollow all safety procedures and PPE requirementsRequired Skills & CompetenciesMaterial handling and warehouse operationsForklift / powered equipment operationInventory control and shipping & receivingERP or warehouse system data entryAttention to detail and safety awarenessTeam collaboration and problem solvingQualificationsRequired:English communication (verbal and written)Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularlyBasic math and computer skillsForklift certification or ability to obtain within 60 daysPreferred:Manufacturing or warehouse experienceKnowledge of ISO 9001 / QMSWork Environment & Physical RequirementsManufacturing/warehouse setting with variable noise and temperaturesStanding and walking up to 10 hours per shiftFrequent bending, reaching, pushing, and pullingVisual acuity to safely operate powered equipmentCompliance with all safety policies and PPE standards
