Material HandlerDeGeest Corporation is seeking a dependable and motivated Material Handler to support the movement of materials and inventory throughout our manufacturing facility. This entry-level role plays a critical part in keeping production flowing efficiently by unloading trucks, moving raw materials and work-in-process inventory, staging parts for production, and supporting shipping and receiving activities. This position will utilize equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, cranes, hoists, carts, and other material handling equipment to safely transport materials throughout the facility. Additional responsibilities may include laser de-nesting, packaging, assembly support, inventory tracking, shipping and receiving, and facility maintenance tasks.Full-Time Position Shift schedule: Shop Hours are 6:00am - 4:30pm, can get 40 hours in during this window Monday through Friday. Overtime is available when needed.The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-focused, willing to learn, and able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key responsibilities include:Material movement, staging, and kittingLaser part de-nesting and part organizationLoading/unloading trucks and verifying shipmentsInventory tracking and ERP system scanningOperating forklifts and material handling equipmentSupporting production flow and work center organizationMaintaining clean and safe work areasAssisting with inventory counts and logistics supportQualifications:0–3 years of manufacturing or material handling experience preferredForklift experience preferred (certification provided in-house)Strong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to work safely in a physically active environmentPositive attitude and willingness to learnHigh School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
