(Including loading and unloading trucks)Accurately pick and pack items for shipment potentially with a forkliftLabel and prepare items for shipmentWork with Inventory Control on correct product placementComplete required paperwork and project time-tracking documentationMaintain warehouse order to ensure pallet locations are kept available for incoming itemsEnsure all items not required short term are restocked according to established proceduresUpdate Warehouse Management System with transactionPerforms daily safety checklist and standard battery charging procedureAssist with contacting freight couriers to schedule pick-ups and deliveriesAssist in cycle counting and periodic inventoriesAssist team members in meeting and exceeding customer expectationsUpdate supervisor and team lead on issues or concernsParticipate in process Improvement by communicating to supervisor and/or team leadMaintain a clean, organized and safe work areaSupport and maintain corporate quality, health and safety standards, processes, policies, practices and work instructions. (ISO standards where applicable)All other duties as assignedQualifications:High School Diploma or GED preferredPrevious warehouse/manufacturing experience requiredForklift experience preferredCurrent forklift certification and/or ability to become certified within a 30-day period requiredBasic math and reading skillsMust be able to read and understand written and verbal instructionsAbility to pay attention to detail to ensure accuracyAbility to work in a team environmentAbility to lift/move up to 40 pounds solo and greater weights in a team-lift environmentPhysical requirements include: lifting, carrying, bending, stretching, and standing for long periods of time, ability to handle heights
