Material HandlerOur customer in Seward, Illinois is seeking motivated individuals to join their team. They’re recruiting for Material Handlers to work full-time on 1st shift. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for receiving, storing, moving, and issuing materials while maintaining accurate inventory records and supporting safe, efficient production operations.Responsibilities of the Material Handler:Pull material as needed to ensure production machines remain operational.Unload trucks in a safe and efficient manner.Perform cycle counts on material removed from the production area and submit count information to the Buyer.Set up and operate the bar marking machine according to print specifications.Confirm delivered material matches packing list and record any discrepancies.Create and maintain tags in M2M system.Spray paint bar ends according to designations on purchase order.Deliver signed packing list to buyer.Accurately record all material additions to and removals from storage racks.Investigate inventory discrepancies and count all available material in question.Stack and store material safely, ensuring all stacks are stable and secure.Requirements and Qualifications:High School diploma or equivalent.Proven forklift skills are required.Willingness to learn new things.Ability to work self-directed.Good verifiable attendance record.Ability to lift, push and pull.Ability to stand for long period of time.Basic understanding of computers.Strong visual observation and critical thinking skills.Mechanical aptitude and good math skills.A keen eye for detail and results-driven approach.Pay for Material Handler: Starting at $17-$20/hour based on experience.Material Handler Benefits:Paid weekly.Direct deposit.Paid time off.Paid training.Type: 1st Shift, Full-time.Schedule: Monday–Friday from 6:30am–5:00pm.
