Material Handler- Second Shift

Material HandlerColumbia Vehicle Group is seeking hardworking Material Handlers. Material Handlers are responsible for performing an array of duties such as receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders. The Material Handlers support daily warehouse and logistics operations by receiving, tracking, storing, and preparing merchandise for shipment.This role works closely with the Production Team to ensure materials and products are handled safely, accurately, and efficiently while maintaining a clean and organized work environment.Schedule: Monday - Friday 3pm - 11:30am*Shift Premium of $1.00 on top of base pay for second shift employeesJob Responsibilities:Work collaboratively as part of a team to support warehouse and production operationsReceive, inspect, and track incoming shipmentsLoad merchandise onto delivery trucks using appropriate tools and equipmentCarefully handle and accommodate fragile merchandiseTrack and document exact shipment arrival and departure timesTag, label, and stock merchandise according to established warehouse assignmentsPrepare and stage all orders for shipmentRecord, manage, and report any impaired or damaged merchandiseOperate material-handling equipment, including standup forkliftsEnter and maintain accurate data in inventory and logistics software systemsAssist the Production Team with forklift operations and other projects as neededFollow all safety guidelines, policies, and proceduresMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work areaInspect and report any issues related to parts, tools, or processesSkill Requirements:Hands-on experience with inventory and logistics ERP programsStrong physical stamina and manual dexterityTeam-oriented mindset with the ability to work collaborativelyGood organizational and time-management skillsStrong interpersonal and communication skillsProblem-solving abilityEducation and Experience Requirements:High school diploma or equivalent requiredMinimum of 1 year of experience as a standup forklift operatorValid driver's license requiredWhat We Offer:Competitive hourly payFull-time, steady work with a consistent scheduleComprehensive benefits package including health, dental, and vision insurancePaid time off and paid holidaysOn-the-job training and skill development opportunitiesSafe, clean, and team-oriented work environmentOpportunities for career growth and advancementEmployment with a stable, family-owned organization committed to long-term successKickstart your career with a dynamic, family-owned company where innovation, integrity, and teamwork make every day exciting and impactful!
