Warehouse / Order PickerFGCI, leading distributor of composites materials, is seeking a full-time Warehouse / Order Picker in our St. Petersburg location. This position will manage orders from warehouse staff and management, physically pull inventory from shelves to ensure accurate delivery of products.ResponsibilitiesManage pick ticket ordersPulls items from shelves based on number, size, color, quantity and quality requirementsEnsure orders are accurateStage items safely and correctly for deliveryOperates handling equipment and ensure safety regulations are followedMonitor stock control systems and process specific ordersEnsure warehouse goals are metMaintain a high level of health and safety standardsShrink wrap products to palletsLoad delivery vehiclesPack warehouse orders as necessaryOperate scanners so that proper order is picked and inventory is managed accuratelyPerform other general warehouse duties as assignedRequirementsMinimum of 1 year of forklift experiencePrevious experience working in a warehouse picking and packing ordersAbility to stand/walk for 8 hours and lift heavy objectsAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentKeen attention to detailStrong communication skillsAbility to work well on a team as well as independentlyAble to lift up to 50 pounds
