Material HandlerCardinal Staffing Services is hiring a Material Handler for an elevator and escalator manufacturing company in Holland, OH. As a Material Handler, you will be an essential part of our client’s core operations, ensuring that materials are accurately received, stored, and delivered to support efficient production and high-quality output. The Material Handler is responsible for receiving, storing, issuing, and shipping equipment, supplies, parts, and raw materials associated with production, while maintaining accurate inventory and supply records.Cardinal Staffing Services is invested in their team members!
All temp-to-hire employees are offered competitive compensation ($18.50/hr) as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision). Generous referral bonuses are available upon hire.Available shifts include: Monday- Friday 7:00 am- 3:30 pm. Overtime flexibility is required: 6:00 am- 4:00 pm.Responsibilities of the Material Handler:Receive, identify, and verify incoming shipmentsStore materials, supplies, tools, and equipment in designated areasIssue materials to appropriate departments as neededPrepare and package materials and equipment for shipmentLoad, unload, move, and organize materials using proper equipmentMaintain accurate inventory records and participate in cycle countsInspect materials for quality and report damaged or missing itemsOperate forklifts and other equipment (certification may be required)Assist with continuous improvement efforts and support team membersRequired Qualifications of the Material Handler:High school diploma or equivalentAbility to lift up to 50 lbsPrevious stand-up forklift experience requiredAbility to obtain operator certification within 60 daysInventory management experience, including cycle counting, preferredFamiliarity with SAP, MRP, or ERP systems preferredWillingness to work overtime as neededStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAt Cardinal Staffing, a Surestaff Company, we are dedicated to helping individuals unlock their career potential through meaningful job opportunities.
