Material HandlerROHM Semiconductor USA is looking for reliable Material Handlers at our Otay Warehouse. This is a regular, parttime position working 20-25 hours per week. Various shifts available between the hours of 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday - Friday. Qualified candidates will be responsible to receive, pick, pack and ship cartons within the warehouse. ROHM Semiconductor sells a wide variety of semiconductor components within the Americas. This is a great opportunity for students and those desiring supplemental hours and extra income!Follow and adhere to warehouse guidelines while perform warehouse tasksAbility to repeatedly lift products from shelves and pallets, occasionally weighing up to 40 lbs.Able to safely and properly store cartons onto shelves or pallets within warehouseSort products by part number and perform scanning and labeling of products and cartonsPerform basic math; Multiplication, Division, Addition, SubtractionAble to use general warehouse equipment (pallet jack, rolling carts, hand scanners, computer, etc.)Additional duties and responsibilities as required and assignedMinimum high school diploma or equivalencyMinimum age requirements of 18 or graduate high school senior age 17+No work experience is necessary, training will be providedFamiliar with warehouse OSHA Standards and practices a plusPositive can-do attitude with willingness to learn new skills/tasksExcellent communication abilitiesAbility to be on-time for scheduled shiftsMaintain good sustained and reliable attendanceForklift certification not required, a plusPhysical ability to stand for prolonged periods; ability to lift, reach, bend, or pullExcellent customer service skillsFluent in the English language (oral, written, reading and listening)Attention to Detail, Ability to work in diverse and fast-paced environments and/or flexible to changing work directions, ProfessionalismWarehouse environment, palletizing, lift trucks, lift, stand, walk, sit, bend, reach, pull, repetitive motionROHM offers competitive pay.
