Material HandlerAnchor Packaging, a Georgia Pacific company, is looking for individuals to join their dynamic team of Material Handlers at the Paragould, AR facility. The material handlers primary responsibility is to operate forklift and material handling equipment in the distribution center and/or manufacturing area. Receive and move all materials and products to staging or storage areas and arranges them for proper movement when needed.
Perform work under the direction of the warehouse supervisor/manager or material handling manager.Pay: $18.00 - $21.50Shifts Available:Night Shift: 7pm to 7amNight Shift: 7pm to 3am Monday-FridayWhat You Will DoMoves raw materials and stock in warehouse or manufacturing facility, shipping lines, and other storage areas using forklift and material handling equipmentPerforms all system-related transactions to ensure inventory accuracy goalsAssists in preparing materials orders or truck orders and assists in maintaining accurate raw materials, pallets, and carton counts for the warehouse supervisor and/or material handling managerRestocks raw materials and picks locations for order fulfillmentLoads and unloads trucksMaintains a clean manufacturing facility and/or warehouse and forklift dailyPerforms preventative maintenance and minor repairs on material handling equipmentResponsible for adhering to all safety procedures in the performance of job dutiesWho You Are (Basic Qualifications)Experience operating a forkliftWhat Will Put You AheadForklift CertificationExperience working in a warehouse or manufacturing setting
