Material HandlerHours: Monday - Thursday Nights (4-10s) Start time open for discussion, typically between 4:00pm and 6:00pmJob Summary: Material handlers are responsible for preparing and staging materials for production and shipping functions. This includes, but is not limited to processing, verifying and completing inventory, picking orders, delivering materials to and from the production floor and a variety of other shipping/receiving related tasks.Supervisory Responsibilities: NoneDuties/Responsibilities:Responsible for preparing, picking, and staging materials accurately and efficientlyScanning inventory items from production floor to finished goods warehouse with accuracyPerforming accurate inventory cycle countsCoordinating daily with team members to meet or exceed customer shipment dates and requirementsCompleting computer entries and documentationOther duties as assignedEducation: High school diploma or GED equivalentExperience: Minimum 2 years' related warehouse experience Forklift/Clamp truck experience, preferredRequired Skills/Abilities:Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to work in team environmentExcellent interpersonal and customer service skillsGeneral computer knowledge and experience with Microsoft OfficeExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailExcellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlinesAbility to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environmentPhysical Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times, repetitively Prolonged periods of walking and standing
