These include but are not limited to: Disposing of trash and cardboard, running sweeper/scrubber in warehouse, assisting with facilities related tasks and performing assigned special projects. This position requires lifting and the safe operation of equipment.Duties and Responsibilities:60% - Housekeeping, trash, cardboard recycling.15% - Required to operate sweeper/scrubber and material handling equipment.10% - Facility tasks.5% - Maintain a clean, safe and productive work environment5% - Back up picking in warehouse when needed.5 % - Other duties as assignedQualificationsMinimum Position Qualifications:Experience: 2+ years work experience in facilities/maintenance and custodial/housekeeping.
Must be certified to operate all equipment and be able to pass certification tests.Education Level: High school diploma or GED.Position Requirements: Must be able lift up to 70 lbs. Ability to use scanner systems effectively with minimal errors Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed Ability to meet and maintain a set level of accuracy and efficiency. Good verbal/written communication skills, basic math skills and ability to read Material handling equipment experience is a plus – required to pass certification test Strong team player and the ability to get along with co-workers All tasks to be done in a manner that are in keeping with the overall performance goals of -safety – accuracy – productivity – attendance - teamwork
