Material HandlerOur client in Roseville, MI is seeking a dependable Material Handler to join their team. The Material Handler is responsible for supplying production lines with the materials needed to maintain continuous operations. This position focuses on moving, staging, replenishing, and organizing materials on the production floor to ensure line workers can perform their jobs without interruption.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesDeliver raw materials, components, and supplies directly to production line workersReplenish line-side materials to prevent downtimeStage materials at workstations according to production schedulesVerify correct part numbers and quantities before delivering to the lineRemove empty containers, scrap, and excess materials from production areasMaintain organized and orderly material flow on the production floorRotate stock using FIFO (First In, First Out) proceduresAssist with changeovers by preparing and delivering required materialsPerform basic inventory checks of line-side materialsCommunicate material shortages or discrepancies to supervisorsMaintain clean and safe work areasFollow all company safety and production proceduresSupport production teams as needed to maintain workflowRequired Skills & QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED preferredPrevious manufacturing or production floor experience preferredAbility to read part numbers, labels, and work orders accuratelyStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced production environmentGood communication and teamwork skillsAbility to follow written and verbal instructionsPhysical RequirementsAbility to lift up to 40–50 lbs regularlyAbility to stand and walk for extended periodsFrequent bending, reaching, and carrying materialsAbility to work in a manufacturing environmentPay: $19 an hour Shift: 1st shift
