Please be flexible to work either shift as assigned.What’s a Typical Day as Material Handler?Assisting in plant and warehouse operations, including seed count, bagging, and treating processesOperating both manual and automated seed count and bagging equipmentTracking and maintaining accuracy of seed/lbs, bag weights, inventory, and treater accuracyEntering plant monitoring data for treating and packagingMonitoring packaging and treatment processes for quality and efficiencyPerforming general repairs on bag placers, baggers, treaters, and palletizersParticipating in cleanup of treating and bagging areasAssisting with carryover blending processes and inventory countsMeeting all safety requirements and participating in safety programsCompleting other duties as assigned by managementThis Job Might Be an Outstanding Fit If You:Have a High School Diploma or GED (required)Bring at least 2 years’ experience in manufacturing, seed production, ginning, seed conditioning, or relevant farm/mechanical workUnderstand and apply OSHA’s Lockout Tagout (LOTO), Confined Space Entry (CSE), and other key safety requirementsPossess strong mechanical abilities and communication skillsCan work effectively in a team environmentAre physically able to handle 50lb bags and perform manual tasks as neededAre flexible to work either 1st or 2nd shift and stay late as needed to complete workWhat happens next?
