Material HandlerWe are seeking a dedicated Material Handler to join our team.
The role involves managing shipments and inventory with precision and efficiency. If you have experience with material handling, inventory management, and possess a keen eye for detail, we encourage you to apply.ResponsibilitiesDownload and manipulate Excel spreadsheets from SAP for inventory management.Participate in continuous inventory cycle counts and yearly physical inventory as needed.Compare identifying information and count, weigh, or measure items of incoming and outgoing shipments for verification purposes.Unload trucks for inbound shipments, ensuring materials are received in satisfactory condition.Load trucks for outbound shipments, ensuring items are stacked properly to prevent damage.Pick and pack contents for domestic and international orders, ensuring the accuracy of contents.Report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.Essential SkillsMinimum of 3 years experience performing cycle counting.Minimum of 3 years operating a reach truck.Minimum of 3 years using an RF/Scanner.Additional Skills & QualificationsWorking knowledge of packaging methods and ability to determine packaging requirements.Ability to follow standard work instructions, be reliable and punctual.Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.Knowledge of spreadsheets for cycle counting responsibilities.Capable of understanding weights and measures.Why Work Here?Join a supportive team in a collaborative environment where your skills and contributions are valued. The work environment is a warehouse setting, requiring PPE such as steel-toed boots.
