We offer competitive pay and excellent benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401K, short term disability, and life insurance for full time employees.Responsibilities for Material HandlerForklift experience preferredMust have a valid driver's license and clean driving recordLocate and move raw materials from the warehouse to processing areaSupply processing areas throughout manufacturing facility with packaging items such as cones, boxes, separators etc.Properly strap and shrink wrap finished goods on pallet for transport to warehouse/shippingWeigh finished goodsCharge electric forklifts when not in useClean and maintain forklift as neededCollect and dispose of cardboard, used pallets, scrap yarns, and waste receptacles located in the warehouse and manufacturing facilityAlways maintain a neat and organized warehouse for raw material storageUnload raw materials upon arrival. Locate material in designated warehouse area by supplier and yarn type as well as load and record finished goods on ST truck for transport and empty chemical containersCorrectly scan in inventory as neededCorrectly identify, understand and follow visual aids that are in your assigned work areaFollow safety procedures and use PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) when and where required, notifying Lead Personnel and/or Direct Supervisor of any unsafe conditionsQualifications for Machine OperatorHigh School Diploma or GEDPrevious Material Handler experience in a manufacturing facility, or similar relevant experience - preferredMust be detail-orientedUnderstanding of inventory and plant processesAbility to follow written and oral instructionsAbility to work in a teamAbility to lift 25-30lbsAbility to stand up to 12 hours per shiftWillingness to work in shifts (late or early hours, weekends, and overtime if necessary)
