Material HandlerThe Material Handler is responsible for operating machinery to accurately stock, receive and replenish product throughout the warehouse. This role also assists with fulfilling customer orders.Core Duties and Responsibilities:Operates all electric material handling equipment to move, locate, stack, store, replenish and count merchandise using a hand held scannerAccountable for the safe and efficient operation of material handling equipment in accordance with company standards, including conducting pre inspection and wearing proper safety gearCompares identifying information and counts items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify accuracy against orders or other recordsAssembles shipping boxes, maintains warehouse supplies and inventory levelsAssists other departments as needed, including but not limited to Order Selecting, Shipping, Verifying and ReturnsAssists in ensuring the warehouse is kept clean and organizedRegular onsite attendance is an essential function of this position. Additional duties as needed.Position Requirements:HS diploma or equivalentExperience operating various electric material handling equipment, including but not limited to Standing Electric Forklift, Hi-Lo Reach Truck, Cherry Picker, Pallet Jack, Dock Machine, etc.Must demonstrate satisfactory operation of warehouse equipment as evaluated by Management2+ years of experience in a fast paced warehouse environmentClear communication skills requiredAble to stand on feet the entire working dayAble to bend, crouch and reach as neededMust be able to lift up to 40 lbs.Flexible with schedule; ability to work overtime due to business needs
