If you're looking for a stable manufacturing job with consistent hours and opportunities to learn multiple skills, Valley Craft is a great place to build a career.Our Material Handler and Machine Operator will play a key role in producing Valley Craft's metal products by being responsible for safely moving, storing, and tracking materials and product.
You will also operate and monitor manufacturing equipment such as turret presses and bending machines. You will be trained to work in several areas and move between them based on daily production needs.1st shift: Monday through Thursday 5 am - 3:30 pm (OT as needed)Depending on daily needs, you may be assigned to:Material Handling:Deliver raw materials to production areas and remove finished goodsMove materials between warehouse, loading docks, and manufacturing areas using forklifts, pallet jacks, or by handPerform inventory counts and update inventory systems for accuracyPerform daily inspections and maintenance on forklifts and material handling equipmentMachine Operation:Operate manufacturing equipment including turret and bending machinesMonitor output and adjust machine settings to maintain qualityVisually inspect parts or use measuring tools and fixturesGeneral Responsibilities:Read production paperwork, diagrams, and specificationsPerform basic troubleshooting and problem solvingMaintain a clean and safe work areaSupport teammates and move between departments as neededPerform other duties as assignedWhat We're Looking For:High school diploma or equivalent1+ years of manufacturing experience1+ years forklift experience, forklift certification preferredAbility to read work instructions, diagrams, and production paperworkComfortable using hand tools, power tools, and production equipmentStrong attention to detail and qualityWillingness to learn multiple jobs and float between departmentsAbility to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background checkResponsible team player willing to float to where the work isPhysical Requirements:Continuous standing, walking, bending, and reachingMust be able to kneel, stoop, and sit as neededMust be able to work in hot and cold manufacturing environmentsAbility to lift and carry up to 50 lbsBenefits:Competitive pay based on experiencePaid Time Off (PTO)Nine (9) paid holidaysMedical, Dental, and Vision insurance401(k) with company matchFriendly, collaborative team environmentOpportunities for training, growth, and advancementValley Craft Industries is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
