As a Material Handler, you’ll play a key role in the movement, storage, and preparation of materials for shipment.
The worksite is heated but not air-conditioned, and you’ll work both indoors and outdoors, so comfort working in variable temperatures is important.Key Responsibilities:Safely load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse and outdoor areasAccurately pick and fill orders, regularly lifting boxes up to 50 lbsRead order slips, count items, and ensure order accuracyOperate a variety of material handling equipment—forklifts (stand-up/sit-down), pallet jacks, reach trucks, cherry pickers, walking riders, EZGo carts, hand trucks, or dolliesForklift experience preferred but not required (training provided)Pack and ship customer orders promptly and efficientlyAssist with receiving and organizing new inventoryUse an RF scan gun and maintain records for order trackingMaintain a clean and safe work environmentRequirements:Must be at least 18 years oldAvailable to work full-time, Monday through Friday, 7am–4pmAble to lift, push, carry, and move boxes weighing up to 50 lbs frequentlyComfortable standing/moving for extended periods and working in both indoor and outdoor environmentsGood communication skills (able to read order slips and product labels)Basic math skills for counting and ensuring order accuracyStrong attention to detail and reliable time managementPositive attitude and strong work ethicForklift experience a plus (not required—training provided)Additional Information:This is a temp-to-hire role, with long-term opportunities based on performance and business needs.Work conditions may be dusty or dirty; steel toe shoes are required daily.Interview required prior to placement.
