Material Handler /Filler
3:30 PM - 1:30 AM | $23.00/hr | Itasca, IL
The Filler is primarily a production and material-handling role focused on getting product into the correct containers and preparing it for shipment/storage.
Material Handler /Filler Requirements
  • Must have 2+ years of experience operating a forklift
  • Must have prior experience with production
  • Must be okay working in a hot environment
  • Must have basic math skills
As a Material Handler /Filler, your responsibilities will include:
  • Fills containers with product using filling equipment.
  • Weighs and mixes materials according to production requirements.
  • Operates a forklift to move materials, drums, totes, and finished products.
  • Checks products and quantities to ensure everything is correct.
  • Labels containers after they are filled.
  • Takes samples to QC for approval.
  • Moves approved product to the correct location.
  • Completes production paperwork and reports discrepancies.
  • Cleans the production area and assists with general maintenance.
  • Helps with inventory counts.
