Material Handler

Trident Consulting is seeking a "Material Handler" for one of our clients in "Indianapolis, IN" A global leader in business and technology services.

Job Title: Material Handler

Location: Indianapolis, IN

Pay Rate: $21–$24/hr

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM for training;

thereafter, Friday–Sunday, 6:00 AM–6:00 PM

Interview Process: First round virtual; second round onsite

Job Summary

Seeking a dependable Materials Management Technician to handle shipping, receiving, inventory control, and material distribution in a regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, label, and store incoming materials.
• Pick, pack, and ship orders accurately.
• Maintain inventory records, perform cycle counts, and update ERP systems.
• Deliver materials to manufacturing and other departments.
• Prepare shipping documents and track inbound/outbound shipments.
• Operate material-handling equipment, including pallet movers and forklifts.
• Maintain an organized work area and follow cGMP, ISO, and safety procedures.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 0–2 years of shipping, receiving, or warehouse experience.
• Basic computer skills and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to operate hand trucks and pallet movers.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in refrigerated/freezer environments.
• Ability to wear required PPE, including safety shoes, gloves, lab coat, and safety glasses.

Preferred Qualifications

• Inventory control and inbound/outbound shipping experience.
• Oracle or ERP system knowledge.
• Forklift experience.
• Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills.

Additional Requirements

• Overtime may be required during peak periods and physical inventories.
• Must follow applicable safety and material-handling procedures.
