Kit Preparation SpecialistResponsible for the overall preparation of kits prior to the production floor which includes all material transactions, material movement, storage, and inventory.Job Responsibilities:Sort, counts and checks raw materials, finished and semi-finished parts.Handles raw and processed materials in compliance with internal Electrostatic Discharge Policies and ProceduresIssues material to WO and follows Bill of Material and Work Order RoutingMaintains inventory on hand and stockroom data filesPerforms required cycle counts. Audits stocking locations to ensure system transaction accuracy.Performs physical inventories as required.Generates Daily Acceptance Report and Drive Results to stock to ensure KPI's are on track with goalsGenerate Weekly Results of cycle counts and Inventory put-awaysCollaborates with other departments with reconciliation of inventoryDesignated representative for any stockroom auditsUnderstands and can research and reconcile InventoryProcesses MRP transactions with accuracy and efficiencyStores electronic components properly and understands MSD componentsValidates previous transactions for discrepancies and ensures internal specifications are met and traceability requirements are 100% accurateEnsures Kit preparation is in compliance of Standards and internal documentationMay occasionally be required to work overtime.Required Qualifications:High School Diploma or GED and typically requires 5+ years of related experienceBackground in material handling/stockroom manufacturing and cycle countingAbility to identify electronic componentsDetail oriented and able to multitaskKnowledge of ESD (Electrostatic discharge) proceduresGood written and verbal communication skillsMust be able to work a flexible schedule in order to meet production and customer needsBasic math and computer skills for inventory calculations and reportingStrong communication skills to coordinate with others and resolve inventory issuesFamiliarity with warehouse management systems and inventory softwarePreferred Qualifications:Working knowledge of IPC-610 preferredInventory reconciliation experienceExperience preferred working with internal/external auditorsThis position requires you to access information that is subject to U.S. export regulations.
