Material Handler IIImplements procedures, tools, and techniques for moving materials throughout and from the manufacturing facilities. The shift is "A" shift (con ops schedule) shift differential will be 7%. Work schedule is Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday one week and then Wednesday Thursday the following week.
Total of 60 hours one week and 24 hours the following week. 7:00 AM to 7:00 PMSupply operators with material needed for productionEmpty scrap, weigh scrap and load onto trucksDeliver finished product to Packaging department, scan, stretch wrap, create Interplant Bill of Landing and place on truckSupply Department with necessary suppliesCommunicate with Leaders for follow-up or specific instructions dailyOperate manual pallet jacks and moving carts constantlyForklift experience preferred; forklift certification preferredComputer skills requiredAbility to pass all pre-employment physical testingAbility to work in a team environment with other material handlers on shift as well as assembly / production operatorsMust be able to lift and carry a maximum weight of 30 lbs safely & dependablyMust be able to push a maximum weight of 90 lbs safely & dependablyMust be able to pull a maximum weight of 90 lbs safely & dependablyFrequently required to extend arms and hands between knees & shoulders; frequent holding and grasping with hands.
