This role ensures that production teams receive the correct materials on time while maintaining strict compliance with aerospace quality, safety, and traceability standards.Key ResponsibilitiesReceive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against purchase orders and specificationsSafely store materials in designated warehouse locations following FIFO (First-In, First-Out) and inventory control proceduresPick, stage, and deliver materials to production lines in accordance with work orders and schedulesOperate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and cartsMaintain accurate inventory records using ERP/MRP systems and perform cycle counts as requiredEnsure proper labeling, packaging, and handling of sensitive aerospace componentsSupport shipping operations, including packaging and preparing outbound shipmentsIdentify and report damaged, defective, or non-conforming materialsMaintain a clean, organized, and safety-compliant work environmentFollow all company policies, OSHA safety standards, and aerospace regulatory requirementsQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent required1–3 years of experience in material handling, warehouse, or manufacturing environment (aerospace preferred)Basic understanding of inventory systems and material tracking processesAbility to read work orders, part numbers, and technical documentationForklift certification (or ability to obtain)Strong attention to detail and organizational skillsBasic computer skills (ERP/MRP systems experience preferred)Physical RequirementsAbility to lift up to 50 lbs. regularlyFrequent standing, walking, bending, and reachingAbility to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentPreferred QualificationsExperience in aerospace or highly regulated industriesFamiliarity with AS9100 or similar quality management systemsExperience with barcode scanning systems and inventory softwareWork EnvironmentManufacturing and warehouse settingExposure to machinery, noise, and varying temperaturesUse of personal protective equipment (PPE) requiredKey CompetenciesAttention to detail and accuracyTime management and reliabilityTeam collaborationSafety awarenessAccountability and integrityPay range for this role$20.24 - $22.61 USDWhat's in it for you:Benefits:Competitive total compensation packageComprehensive benefit package options include medical, dental, vision, life, and more.401k with company-match4 weeks of paid time off each year12 annual company holidaysWhy Join Zone 5 Technologies?Innovative Environment: Work on cutting-edge technology that is shaping the future of defense and aerospace.Collaborative Culture: Join a team of passionate professionals dedicated to pushing the boundaries of what's possible.Career Growth: Opportunities for professional development and career advancement.If you are passionate about unmanned aircraft technology and want to be a part of a dynamic and growing company, we would love to hear from you.
