With operations across the U.S. and globally, we are committed to safety, innovation, and quality while building products our customers depend on every day.What a day in the life of a Material Handler at Spartan Emergency Response looks like:Maintain inventory accuracyMoves parts, WIP, or finished products and delivers mail packages to the various department or warehouse locationsOperates various material handling equipment such as pallet jacks, rolling carts, or forklifts.Maintains the required documentation of all parts and materials moved in accordance with the specified procedures.Drives in various road conditions, small roadways, and highways.Ensures work areas and other designated work areas are maintained in a safe and neat manner.Ensure all material and inventory remains properly identified and stored free from damage or deterioration.Required education, skills, and experience to be successful:Preferred 1-year experience with manufacturing, inventory, or related functionsPreferred high school diploma or GEDProficient in computer use for data entry, part scanning or transacting, the printing of picklistsMust have a valid Driver's LicenseAbility to perform all operations within acceptable inventory accuracy, quality, and time standards.Must have the ability to read, write, and perform mathematical computations at a level required for successful job performanceAbility to communicate professionally and follow directionsAbility to work in a team environmentSuccessful completion of the drug and background screeningPhysical demands on this role:Frequent bending, stooping, squatting, and climbing up and down ladders and scaffoldingAbility to regularly lift and move up to 40 lbs.
