Please make sure they are comfortable with the commute to this location near Hobby airport.Job Code: The Materials Handler is responsible for moving materials from machines at workstation as part of production process.Responsibilities:Issue and transfer parts for production.Assist Production Planner and assembly stores whenever required.Use the guiding principles and tools of the Manufacturing System to drive continuous improvement, wherever applicable.Experience and Skills:Minimum 2 years of materials management experience required.SAP experience is required.Strong organizational and multitasking skills required.Ideal candidate is self-directed and proactive.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Forklift experience is a plus, but not required.
(Training will be provided.)Length of Assignment: 6 months. Potential for extension or conversion to full-time.Work Environment: 80% warehouse/shop, 20% desk. Not climate-controlled.
