This is an associate to hire opportunity.Material Handler Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To:Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against purchase orders and documentationTransport materials to designated storage or production areas using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipmentPick, pack, and stage materials for production or shipmentMaintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems (WMS) or ERP softwarePerform routine cycle counts and assist with physical inventory auditsEnsure proper labeling, storage, and handling of materials to prevent damage or lossFollow all safety guidelines, including OSHA standards and company policiesCollaborate with production, purchasing, and shipping teams to support workflow efficiencyKeep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with 5S or similar workplace standardsMaterial Handler Requirements:High school diploma or equivalent requiredPrevious warehouse or material handling experience preferredForklift certification or willingness to obtain certificationBasic computer skills for inventory tracking systemsAbility to read and interpret work orders and shipping documentsStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periodsExperience in a manufacturing environment preferredFamiliarity with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement practices preferredStrong communication and teamwork skills preferredQPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
