Material Handler

Material Handler$19.50/hour3rd11:00pm-7:00amQPS Employment Group is hiring a Material Handler for a company in Germantown, WI. This is a potential to hire opportunity on 3rd shift.Material Handler Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To:- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against purchase orders and documentation- Transport materials to designated storage or production areas using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment- Pick, pack, and stage materials for production or shipment- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems (WMS) or ERP software- Perform routine cycle counts and assist with physical inventory audits- Ensure proper labeling, storage, and handling of materials to prevent damage or loss- Follow all safety guidelines, including OSHA standards and company policies- Collaborate with production, purchasing, and shipping teams to support workflow efficiency- Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with 5S or similar workplace standardsMaterial Handler Requirements:- High school diploma or equivalent required- Previous warehouse or material handling experience preferred- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking systems- Ability to read and interpret work orders and shipping documents- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods- Preferred experience in a manufacturing environment- Preferred familiarity with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement practices- Preferred strong communication and teamwork skillsQPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
