Material Handler/Forklift OperatorResponsibilities:Operate a sit down forklift truck and packaging equipment including hoistsRead and understand work orders and assignments from computerized instructionsPerform and understand basic math to control quantities and weights of productAbility to lift 50-60 pound containers occasionallyReport to the Supervisor any faulty equipment or other safety hazardsPerform routine post and pre-inspections to ensure safe work conditionsPerform general clean-up tasks to keep work area clean and free of excess debrisAbility to work overtime as neededWhat we expect of a Material Handler/Forklift Operator:At least one-year experience operating a forkliftFrequent walking, bending, twisting, and liftingAbility to lift up to 50 lbs.Attention to detail and ability to check your own work for accuracyBasic computer knowledgeBe able to understand basic English.
