Material Handler/Forklift Driver - Main Plant Nights

Forklift Driver (Full-Time, Permanent)Location: Blaine, WAShift: 4 on / 4 off – Nights (7:00 PM–7:30 AM)Wage: $22.28–$25.54/hour + $1.50/hour night shift differential (6:00 PM–6:00 AM)About the RoleAt Nature's Path Foods, our Forklift Drivers play a critical role in keeping our operations running safely, efficiently, and with the highest quality standards. Reporting to the Shift Supervisor, you'll work closely with the Driving Team and cross-functional partners to support daily production and warehouse activities. You may also help guide team members who are new to the role or department.You'll be accountable for the safe operation and care of assigned equipment, while ensuring all work aligns with safety, quality, and production requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesSafely operate forklifts in accordance with plant rules and safety regulationsPerform daily forklift safety inspections and report any issues to the Leadership TeamEnsure proper charging and care of forklift equipmentAccurately complete and maintain all required paperwork, including pallets, slip sheets, WIP documentation, and finished goods labellingVerify that products meet quality standards set by Management and Quality AssuranceLabel, stage, and prepare finished goods for shippingMaintain detailed operator logs and complete clear handoffs with oncoming team membersParticipate in shift handover meetings, pre-shift meetings, and Lean initiativesFollow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and food safety requirementsSupport other tasks as assigned by the Warehouse Manager or Shift SupervisorWhat You BringMinimum 6–12 months of forklift operating experienceStrong attention to safety, quality, and detailAbility to communicate clearly and effectively in English, both verbally and in writingComfortable working nights and in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentTeam-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate across departmentsBenefits and Perks:$1,000 sign-on bonus!
