The Material Handler, Fabricator is responsible for keeping the flow of products running smoothly within the Fabrication area.Shifts available: Monday through Friday 7:00 am - 3:30 pmA variety of these traits will help land you this job if you have:a high school diploma or GEDPower Industrial Vehicle (PIV) experience preferredworked in a manufacturing environment for 2-5 yearsworked in a fast-paced mid-size companythe ability to lift 50 lbs. on a regular basisOn top of that you must:possess a thorough and organized approach to your workpay close attention to details on every projecthave basic computer skills, including Pace and Google Suitebe self-motivated, a fast learner, and show initiative to seek out customer and corporate needsplan, prioritize, coordinate, and manage your workcomplete projects accurately within deadlines, while meeting Company quality standardsapply effective time management and self-management skillsunderstand and maintain the confidential nature of company, employee and customer informationbe flexible to changeIn this position, you will:safely operates all types of forkliftshandle the loading and unloading of media to production areas and cutting machinesopen pallets of new media to be ready for the pressesensure that the next job is prepared for the Cutting Operatormake certain that the production floor is kept clear of debris and recycling materialscommunicate with the cut and print leads to understand their needshandle the unloading of materials as they arrivedeliver empty skids to the cutting area for completed jobs to be placed onstage jobs for the TBG transfer truckdrive the delivery truck between TBG buildings as neededscan materials in process (MIP) using a TBG internal systemassist in maintaining a clean work environment and dock areacomplete an inspection log of the company truckperform other duties as assigned by managementTo get hired at The Bernard Group, you MUST be:able to effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing.
