Extrusion Material Handler – 3rd Shift

WeatherTech Direct is seeking well-qualified Extrusion Material Handlers to help prepare material for use in the extrusion process. This is a 3rd shift position with the hours of 11pm – 7:30am, M-F.

Base rate of pay starting at $19.00 per hour or more depending on experience. Additional compensation: $1.50 per hour 3rd shift differential

As an Extrusion Material Handler, you will:

• Load scrap material into grinding machines, operate grinding machines, and use a pallet jack to move pallets containing gaylords of material
• Operate powered industrial vehicles and pallet jacks to load/unload and transport materials, supplies, components, and finished products between storage and work areas when needed
• Operate vacuum hose to remove material from gaylords, use a shovel to move the material towards the vacuum hose
• Prepare pallets for material stacking, band and wrap pallets of finished material
• Aid the Extrusion Operators as needed
• Comply with all safety guidelines and company procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualified Candidates will:

• Have a minimum of 1 year of previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse setting
• Be a team player with good attitude and strong work ethic
• Be dependable, with excellent attendance
• Be able read a tape measure and have basic math skills
• Have basic computer skills
• Have the ability to work/learn at a fast pace, while maintaining the highest quality work standards
• Be able to stand on feet for 8 hours
• Occasionally lift up to 50lbs
• Be available to work overtime and weekends, as required
• Be fluent in English and be authorized to work in the United States
