Material Handler
Vomela is seeking a dependable Material Handler to join our fast-paced production and shipping team. This role supports daily warehouse, shipping, and production floor operations. What you'll do:
- Verify completeness of shipments against shipping orders
- Assemble, pack, protect, label, and weigh outgoing shipments
- Load and unload trucks using forklifts and other material-handling equipment
- Move materials to support operators on the production floor
- Trace shipments when required
- Maintain adequate inventory of packaging supplies
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently
- Keep work areas and equipment clean, organized, and safe
- Assist other departments when shipping duties are completed
- Make local deliveries or pick-ups using a company vehicle
- Perform other duties as assigned
