HIRING IMMEDIATELY: MATERIAL HANDLER IN ELGIN, IL
Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for a Material Handler to join our team in Elgin, Illinois. This individual will be responsible for loading and unloading trailers, scanning and sorting merchandise, building and labeling pallets, picking and packing products, and maintaining accurate inventory. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment, and able to perform a variety of physical tasks while maintaining a clean and organized work area. Pay, Schedule, and Location

• 1st Shift: Sunday to Tuesday and Thursday to Saturday (Alternating Wednesdays) 6:00am-2:00pm/4:00pm $17.50/hour
• 2nd Shift: Sunday to Tuesday and Thursday to Saturday (Alternating Wednesdays) 6:00pm-2:00am/4:00am $19.50/hour
• Excellent benefits package, including Medical, Dental, and Vision
• Located in Elgin, Illinois

Duties and Responsibilities

• Load and unload trailers, scan incoming and outgoing merchandise, and build and label pallets
• Pick, pack, sort, re-bag, re-ticket, replenish, and stock merchandise as needed
• Verify product and location accuracy, perform product counts and cycle counts, and complete inventory reconciliations
• Use computer and RF systems to accurately enter and update product information
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow all department procedures and operating guidelines
• Follow company policies, training guidelines, best practices, and standard operating procedures

Requirements and Qualifications

• Previous warehouse, distribution, or fulfillment experience preferred
• Ability to accurately scan, sort, pick, pack, and organize merchandise
• Basic computer and/or RF scanner skills preferred
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to follow written procedures, training guidelines, and verbal instructions
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced warehouse environment
• Must be able to maintain a clean and organized work area
• Ability to perform physically demanding warehouse tasks, including loading, unloading, standing, walking, and moving merchandise throughout the shift
