If you're looking for a growth opportunity, join us at GXO.What you'll do on a typical day:Empty, fill, sort, organize and wrap/unwrap productProperly build displays, folding cartons and palletized productsSort damaged productsSafely operate various equipment and toolsCorrectly utilize a warehouse management system and maintain appropriate work documentsMaintain cleanliness and order of work areasWhat you need to succeed at GXO:The ability to read and interpret documents, including safety rules, operating instructions and procedure documentsBasic math skillsKnowledge of warehouse and packaging operationsAvailability to work a flexible schedule, with possible overtime when neededIt'd be great if you also have:High school diploma or equivalentMaterial handling certification1 year of experience in warehouse and/or packaging operationsThe ability to perform well under pressure in a fast-paced environment and work with precise standards of accuracy and within time limitsThe knowledge to rate information using standards that can be measured or checkedSolid verbal and written communication skillsThis job requires the ability to:Lift objects of various shapes, sizes and weights; carry, lift, push and pull up to 70 lbs.Stand, sit or walk for long periods of timeBend, stoop, squat, twist, push and/or pullHandle or manage tools or equipmentTolerate hot or cold warehouse environmentsWe engineer faster, smarter, leaner supply chains.
