Material HandlerSparks, NVOrder: Employnet is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Material Handler to support warehouse and manufacturing operations. The Material Handler is responsible for receiving, storing, moving, and distributing materials while ensuring inventory accuracy and maintaining a safe, organized work environment.Key ResponsibilitiesReceive, unload, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and quality.Pick, pack, and stage materials for production orders and customer shipments.Transport materials throughout the facility using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.Supply production lines with components and raw materials to support manufacturing schedules.Perform inventory transactions, cycle counts, and stock replenishment activities.Organize warehouse inventory and maintain proper storage locations and labeling.Prepare outbound shipments, including packaging, palletizing, and shipping documentation.Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management and ERP systems.Follow company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and quality standards.Assist with warehouse housekeeping and continuous improvement initiatives.Collaborate with shipping, receiving, production, and inventory teams to ensure operational efficiency.QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent preferred.Previous warehouse, logistics, or material handling experience preferred.1yr of long-term consecutive work historyForklift certification or ability to obtain certification.Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Basic computer and inventory management system experience.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.SkillsMaterial handling and inventory controlForklift and pallet jack operationShipping and receivingOrder picking and packingInventory management systemsWarehouse safety complianceTeam collaboration and communicationTime management and problem-solving skillsMust be able to pass background checkFor immediate consideration please give us a call or visit our website.
