Temporary Material HandlerIchor Systems has an immediate opening for a temporary Material Handler located in Fremont, CA. This role will be performing the physical or administrative tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing, and distribution of inventory including parts, supplies, and equipment. Checks goods against purchase orders, invoices or lists; counts and physically moves parts up to 20' long into proper labeled locations.Shift: M-F 6:00am - 2:30pmEssential Duties and Responsibilities – Other duties may be assignedMay load and unload parts or materials from delivery vehiclesExamine documents for storage destinationPull stored materials and move to production or shipping areaDocument information relating to part numbers, counts, storage locationsPackage and label materials according to specificationsPerform inventory counts as requestedWork with moderate supervisionProficient in pulling and distributing of parts (kitting, receiving, put away)Completing daily tasks quickly, efficiently and adhering to Quality and Safety standardsWorks at computer, with printer and has knowledge of MS Outlook, Teams, Word, and ExcelKnowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesAbility to understand and adhere to company safety rules and regulationAbility to follow the procedures, techniques, tools and processes appropriate to material handlingExcellent time management skills, maintain regular contact with site on route status, delays, or potential hazardsExcellent attention to detail, collaboration, problem-solving, and continuous improvement mindsetGood math skills, verbal and written communication skillsKnowledge of ERP systems, Oracle is a plusAbility to sit, stand, walk, bend, drive, and lift up to 50 lbs2-3+ years of material handling or related experienceHigh School Diploma or equivalentPallet Jack and Forklift experience and certification, a plusFor candidates in CA, the pay range for this position is $19.33 to 32.84 per hour, non-exempt.Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
