This role involves safely moving structural steel materials, operating heavy equipment, assisting with shipping preparation, and providing support wherever needed. The ideal candidate is flexible, safety-focused, and comfortable working in both indoor and outdoor environments.Primary ResponsibilitiesSafely move, stage, and organize materials throughout the facility and yardOperate overhead cranes to transport structural steel and other materialsUse forklifts, telehandlers, and Pettibone equipment to move and position loadsLoad, unload, and stage incoming and outgoing shipmentsAssist with trailer movement and yard organizationPrepare materials for shipment, including skidding and stagingOperate production equipment as needed to support workflowClean parts and materials for processing or shipmentAssist with inventory organization and material trackingFollow all safety procedures while operating equipment and handling materialsSupport multiple departments as business needs changeMaintain reliable attendance and contribute to a productive team environmentQualificationsExperience operating overhead cranes is requiredExperience operating telehandlers or Pettibone equipment is requiredMaterial handling, warehouse, or industrial experience preferredExperience working with structural steel is preferredAbility to safely operate forklifts and similar equipmentComfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditionsAbility to lift and move heavy materials throughout the shiftStrong organizational skills and attention to detailAble to adapt to changing priorities and perform a variety of tasksComfortable working independently as well as with a teamManufacturing or industrial experience is a plusWillingness to learn new processes and assist where needed
