Production Material HandlerThe Production Material Handler supports daily manufacturing operations by receiving, storing, staging, and delivering raw materials, components, and finished goods. This role ensures accurate inventory levels, maintains clean and organized work areas, and follows all safety and quality procedures.Position Responsibilities:Replenish production lines to prevent downtime and keep workflows efficient.Assist with cycle counts and inventory audits to support accuracy and compliance.Follow all safety protocols including proper PPE use, equipment operation, and hazard reporting.Keep warehouse and production areas clean and organized to support 5S and lean manufacturing practices.Coordinate with production, purchasing, and quality teams to resolve material issues or shortages.Maintains material-handling equipment by completing pre-use inspections and making operator repairs.Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.Specific Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Competencies:Experience in manufacturing, warehousing, or material handlingAbility to operate forklifts or other industrial equipmentStrong attention to detail and accuracyPosition Qualifications:Education: HS Graduate or Equivalent requiredExperience: 1+ years forklift experience preferred1+ years of experience with inventory control preferredWork Environment and Physical Requirements:Manufacturing floor settingExposure to moving equipment, noise, and temperature variationsRequires consistent adherence to safety rules and PPE requirementsDisclaimer: This list does not represent all physical demands.
