They manage inventory, fulfill production orders, and operate equipment like forklifts or pallet jacks to keep work areas stocked and organized.Key ResponsibilitiesSupply Delivery: Transport raw materials and components to assembly lines and work centers to keep production moving.Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels, perform regular cycle counts, and report shortages.Shipping & Receiving: Unload incoming shipments, inspect for damage, and pack/stage finished products for outbound distribution.Equipment Operation: Operate material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) and complete mandatory pre-shift safety inspections.Documentation: Track material disposition by recording lot numbers, quantities, and locations using inventory software or ERP systems.Safety Compliance: Adhere to OSHA safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organized work environment.Requirements & SkillsExperience: 1–3 years of warehouse or manufacturing experience is typically preferred.Certifications: Valid forklift certification or the ability to pass facility certification tests.Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand/walk for the duration of a shift.Computer Literacy: Basic ability to use barcode scanners and inventory management systems (such as SAP or similar ERPs).Attention to Detail: Precision in labeling, matching part numbers, and reading production/shipping orders.
