Material HandlerThe Material Handler I supports the movement, handling, and storage of raw materials, work-in-process, and finished goods within a cGMP manufacturing environment. This entry-level role focuses on accurate material handling, inventory support, and maintaining a clean, safe, and organized warehouse.Key Responsibilities:Receive and inspect incoming materials for accuracy, quality, and damageStore materials in designated warehouse locations following established proceduresPick, stage, and deliver materials to internal departments as requiredMaintain warehouse organization, cleanliness, and compliance with safety standardsPerform basic inventory activities including cycle counts and stock verificationAccurately complete documentation and perform data entry in inventory systemsAssist in packaging and preparing materials for internal movement or shipmentOperate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and forkliftsFollow company policies, SOPs, and cGMP requirementsCollaborate with team members and support additional warehouse operations as neededPerform other assigned dutiesQualifications:Education & Experience:High School Diploma or equivalent (required)Associate's degree (preferred)Minimum 2 years of experience in warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing environmentsExperience in GMP/FDA-regulated or biotechnology environments (preferred)Forklift experience required; valid forklift certification preferredKnowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles (Kanban, JIT, FEFO) preferredKey Skills:Strong attention to detail and accuracyBasic mathematical skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)Knowledge of inventory and warehouse processesStrong organizational and multitasking abilitiesAbility to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentGood written and verbal communication skillsCommitment to workplace safety and compliance with EHS regulationsWork Environment & Requirements:Ability to stand, walk, and lift materials as requiredComfortable working in a warehouse and manufacturing environmentAbility to operate material handling equipment safelyMust follow all safety, environmental, and regulatory guidelines
