Material Handler - Cantonment, FLTurner Industries Group, LLC has an opening for a Material Handler to join our Team in the Cantonment, FL area. The material handler will be responsible for the physical receipt, storage, and distribution of production materials. This position will also require involvement in conducting physical inventories and count discrepancy resolution, management of non-conforming materials, and interface with purchasing and production departments regarding material issues.Qualification Standards: High school diploma preferred with a minimum of one year's experience in Materials or Operations supplemented with OJT.
Must possess good written and oral communication skills. Sound basic math skills. Ability to perform job duties with a high degree of accuracy.
Due to large work areas sometimes involved, must be able to perform job duties with limited direct supervision. Possess working knowledge of standard material receiving and internal distribution practices. Post-offer drug/alcohol screen and physical evaluation.
