Job DescriptionPrimary Duties & ResponsibilitiesResponsible for supporting inventories across multiple manufacturing departments, including both glass movement and inventory transactions.Management of products in-process including receiving, minor calculations and preparation/transporting before and after external operations.Delivering material to different department stock shelvesMoving product in-process to different Inventory locationsHandling the requisition of product to and from outside processes (third party processing) including packaging and miscellaneous shipping order creationHandling products and raw materials from Receiving (including inspection and entering technical data into databases, generating lot numbers)Scrapping product no longer neededResponsible for product movement throughout the plant, supporting the Test and Finished Goods Inventory (FGI) departmentsDelivery of other raw materials and supplies throughout the facility as needed including picking up and distributing clean room garmentsOther Inventory Support including helping set up site-wide Kanban systems, providing back-up & support for the Receiving and FGI team, and weekly cycle counting of inventory of MROPerform associated Oracle and Cumulus transactions for all the above itemsEducation & Work ExperienceA minimum of 2 + years of work experience in a manufacturing setting is required, including inventory control, shipping and receiving experience. Lean manufacturing and ability to drive a forklift are a plus.Applicants must be proficient with MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Word and technical manufacturing databases.

Experience with Oracle/Agile (or other MRP/ERP systems) is required.Applicant must have a detail-oriented, methodical approach to task completion, with excellent organizational and inventory skills. The individual must be conscientious and able to work with minimal supervision but seek supervisory approval on non-routine tasks.Strong written / verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills are required. Individuals must be responsible, energetic and highly motivated. He/she must possess a high level of organization and be able to work on and prioritize multiple tasks.The individual must be team-oriented and work effectively in a cross-functional team environment. The ability to engage effective working relationships with all levels of personnel in the organization while maintaining enthusiasm and a willingness to share ideas and learn will predicate success.Safety RequirementsAll employees are required to follow the site EHS procedures and Coherent Corp.
