2nd Shift Material HandlerJoin a well-established manufacturing organization as a 2nd Shift Material Handler, supporting the production of liquid, semi-solid, and powder prescription and OTC products. In this role, you handle materials, support packaging operations, and perform basic quality checks to ensure products meet established standards in a clean, organized manufacturing environment.Pay: $18.15/hrShift: Second (2nd) shift: 2:45pm - 11:15pm, Monday - FridayResponsibilitiesHandle materials safely and efficiently to support production and packaging operations.Package containers into cartons, tape cartons securely, and place finished cartons on pallets in an organized manner.Apply product information or date coding onto shipping cartons on the packaging line, ensuring accuracy and legibility.Apply closures to filled containers on the packaging line while maintaining a pace that matches the speed of the line.Maintain a packing rate that keeps up with the speed of the production line to support consistent output.Perform simple in-process inspections for quality, including checking for the presence and quality of printed lot numbers, expiration dates, and sequential number codes on shipping cartons.Inspect products and components for conformity to quality standards and remove any dirty, damaged, or non-conforming filled goods or components from production.Perform cleaning of packaging equipment and facilities as directed by the Line Leader to support safe and efficient operations.Clean the general workstation regularly and comply with current good manufacturing practices (cGMP).Follow all safety, quality, and operational procedures while working collaboratively with production and packaging teams.Essential SkillsExperience in material handling, including moving, staging, and organizing materials in a production or warehouse environment.Hands-on experience with packaging and packing activities, including boxing, taping, and palletizing products.Ability to perform picking tasks accurately to support production and packaging workflows.Good listening and comprehension skills to follow instructions, procedures, and safety guidelines accurately.Ability to lift 15–20 lbs and perform physical activities such as bending, carrying, pushing, kneeling, and standing for long periods of time.Capability to maintain work pace in alignment with the speed of the packaging line.Attention to detail to perform simple in-process inspections and basic quality checks.Willingness and ability to comply with current good manufacturing practices (cGMP).You will work in a stable, well-established manufacturing organization that values quality, safety, and consistency. You work on the 2nd shift as part of a packaging and materials handling team, supporting line operations at a pace that matches production speed. The position involves regular physical activity, including lifting 15–20 lbs, bending, carrying, pushing, kneeling, and standing for extended periods. You will work around packaging lines, coding equipment, and palletizing areas, and you are expected to follow current good manufacturing practices and established safety procedures at all times.This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Brockton, MA.The pay range for this position is $18.15 - $18.15/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
