Material HandlerThe Material Handler is responsible for maintaining the location of work-in-process (WIP) inventory and ensuring materials are delivered to machine operators for the next stage of production. This role is critical to keeping manufacturing operations organized, efficient, and on schedule.Key ResponsibilitiesMove materials throughout the warehouse and manufacturing facilitySafely operate a sit-down forklift to transport skids and materials between departmentsMaintain accurate WIP inventory locations within the ERP systemDeliver materials to production areas to support manufacturing schedulesEnsure inventory is properly stored and organizedAssist with inventory accuracy and material trackingFollow all company safety policies and warehouse proceduresMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environmentAssist with other warehouse and production duties as assignedQualificationsRequired:High school diploma or equivalentMinimum of 2 years of experience in a fast-paced warehouse or manufacturing environmentExperience safely operating a sit-down forkliftBasic computer skillsExcellent attention to detail and organizational skillsStrong attendance and reliabilityPositive attitude and strong work ethicPreferred:Experience using an ERP or inventory management systemPrevious experience handling work-in-process (WIP) inventory in a manufacturing environmentPhysical RequirementsRegularly sit, stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the workdaySafely operate a sit-down forklift for extended periodsLift, move, push, and pull up to 50 pounds on a routine basisWork in a warehouse/manufacturing environment while maintaining productivity and safety standardsWhy Big Bolt?At Big Bolt, you'll join a company with nearly 50 years of manufacturing excellence where your work directly supports the success of our production team.
